Art at East Gippsland Specialist School is all about giving students sensory and hands on experiences, where students can express themselves in a calm and supportive space. At EGSS we strongly believe that Art is making a mark and seeing where is takes you, instilling in our students that Art is about having a go and having fun in the process. In the primary years we explore art by playing, touching and observing different mediums to make all kinds of wonderful creations. In the middle years we learn lots of different Art skills and techniques, where students are encouraged to make choices that reflect their own ideas. In the senior years we complete small and larger Art projects that show the individuals style, creativity and confidence. At our school Art is very much celebrated by everyone!
